Dr. rer. medic., Dipl.-Soz.arb./ Soz.päd. (FH), M.Sc. Health Sciences, M.Sc. Clinical Research;Seit Januar 2024 bin ich im Digital health Team als Berater Market Access Digital Health und begleite insbesondere Projekte zu Digitalen Gesundheitsanwendungen (DiGA). Zuvor war ich am WIG2 Institut, Zentrum für Evidenzbasierte Gesundheitsversorgung (ZEGV) und der Medizinischen Klinik und Poliklinik III im Bereich Prävention und Versorgung des Diabetes am Universitätsklinikum Carl Gustav Carus in Dresden tätig. Zahlreiche regionale, nationale und europäische Forschungsprojekte zu innovativen Versorgungsformen sowie Beratungsprojekte zu Digitalen Gesundheitsanwendungen gehörten zu meinem Tätigkeitsbereich.Im Herbst 2020 habe ich meine Promotion zum Thema „Systematische Übersicht und Bewertung digitaler Interventionen zur Diabetesprävention und -versorgung“ erfolgreich abgeschlossen. Mein primäres Forschungsinteresse gilt der Wirksamkeitsforschung zu digitalen Innovationen im Gesundheitswesen. Publikationen, u.a. zur systematischen Aufbereitung und Bewertung wissenschaftlicher Evidenz, Studienprotokollen und Evaluationskonzepten, Ergebnissen von Interventionsstudien sowie Sekundärdatenanalysen sind unter meinem RG-Profil zu finden: https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Patrick-TimpelAußerdem bin ich in der Hochschullehre aktiv.
