Completed works in only two-months. The data produced insights on the urban-heat-island effect that informed Westminster council policy on protecting citizens under future climate scenarios, e.g. using green roofs, planting trees for shade and optimised irrigation for public parks. 🎯️ Co-authored influential papers, cited more than 330 times, on the application of low-cost air quality sensors for monitoring networks as part of EuNetAir, a €68M EU research program with 17 EU partners. Collaborated on experimental design and deployed University of Cambridge sensor nodes as part of an inter-comparison campaign in Portugal. Our research demonstrated the capacity of low-cost sensors for actionable data on air quality, and succeeded in driving private sector investment into startups for air quality services enhanced with AI.
