I completed my Master of Science and Master of Technology in Environmental Science and Engineering and grew my interest in environmental management. My Doctorate was on removing heavy metals and fluoride using adsorbents derived from microbes (bacteria and Fungi) and agricultural residue. My research mainly focused on solid and liquid waste management through sustainable treatment techniques for resource recovery and circular economy. My research skills and expertise include heavy metal and dye removal, microbes-based waste (solid and liquid) management, agriculture residue management, biofuel production (biobutanol and bioethanol), fermentation biotechnology, bioremediation, and green chemistry. Furthermore, I am fascinated by microplastics, nanoplastics, biochar, and emerging contaminants.
