Fire Investigations (UK) LLP and Fire Investigations (Global) LLP offer a full range of forensic fire investigation services including the origin, cause and development of fires and explosions, materials testing, partial or full scale reconstructions and being expert witnesses in court.I have conducted major fire investigations to determine the origin, cause and development of fires in relation to large loss fires, murder and multiple fatality fires. I specialise in fire investigation scene management; fire investigation team management and also supporting and advising with major, complex or sensitive fire investigations. I have led on the fire investigations at three fires involving 6 fire fighter fatalities in the UK and overseas also supported and/or reviewed the investigations of 8 fire fighter fatalities in the UK. I have investigated murder scenes involving fire; multi-million pound commercial fire losses and was the lead fire investigator for the London Fire Brigade in the Lakanal multi-fatality fire investigation in July 2009.I also qualified as a Hazardous Materials and Environment Protection Officer within the London Fire Brigade.Outside of work, I am a Past President of the UK Association of Fire Investigators and the IAAI, the Global leaders in fire investigation.Specialties: Forensic fire and arson Investigations; major fire investigation management; cold-case reviews; fire investigation training; fire scene reconstructions; fire related scientific and technical advice for TV and film productions/scripts.
