Throughout my career, I have remained an educator at heart, continually finding ways to educate the public on political topics through appearances on talk radio, TV, and YouTube. Ambassador Extraordinary And Plenipotentiary To The Bolivarian Republic Of VenezuelaOffice Of The Prime Minister, Government Of Dominica Mar 2009 - Mar 2018Roseau, DominicaAs the Prime Minister’s Head of the Mission to Caracas, I managed $200M+ in projects spanning health, education, petroleum products, and more and positioned Venezuela as a Caribbean neighbor.► I increased the uptake of university scholarships to Venezuela 100% by promoting international relations and the scholarship program, as well as recruiting and supporting students.► To avoid the disruption of Dominican students’ medical training when Venezuela’s climate became rife with economic, social, and political risks, I negotiated with Cuban Government to transfer them.► Enhancing international relations, I played a key role in planning and executing a seamless State visit of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to Dominica.► I coordinated policy proposals as the foundation for stimulus packages, as a member of the Minister’s delegation to Extraordinary Meeting of ALBA: Summit on World Financial Crisis.

I interpreted Government policies and managed public relations strategies.► Ensuring the success of a new multilateral cooperation with Dominica’s Prime Minister, I designed, planned, and launched a new office and its systems, processes, and procedures.► I increased party activists backing citizens’ advantages from the Government’s relationship with Venezuela, despite radical partisanship through talk radio appearances, promoting nonpartisan benefits.► As an unofficial advisor to countries interested in following Dominica’s lead on multilateral cooperation, I gained the participation of sister Eastern Caribbean countries.► To generate awareness of business and trade opportunities created by ALBA, I held meetings with participants seeking civic and business leads and contacts with Dominican authorities and presented to business and government leaders on ALBA’s purpose.► Using Venezuela as a bridge to build relationships with Nicaragua, Ecuador, and Bolivia, I helped diversify Dominica’s relations in Latin America.► By highlighting less visible reciprocal actions, I defended against the Opposition’s narrative that ALBA’s cooperation with Dominica was detrimental.► I leveraged transparency and diplomacy to defuse public distrust following ALBA’s “secret” signing on of Dominica by the Prime Minister.
