Heading the R & D wing of about 70 scientists working in the areas of Synthetic research, Analytical research and Intellectual Property Management. The major goal is to develop cost effective and non-infringing processes for various Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API). Also responsible for the Contract Research and Manufacturing Services (CRAMS).

Led a team of about 25 synthetic chemists/scientists working on developing non-infringing routes for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients for regulated markets and guiding them in developing cost-effective, and commercially viable processes.

Led a team of about 20 synthetic chemists/scientists working on developing non infringing routes for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) for regulated markets. Have been responsible for developing synthetic processes for different Cephalosporins, their scale-up to commercial batches, impurity preparation and helping in filing Drug Master Files (DMF). Working closely with Intellectual Property Rights Department in non-infringement studies and filing patents.

Led a team of about 5-6 Synthetic chemists working on Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) for regulated markets.Guiding them in developing cost effective & commercially viable processes. Responsible for technology transfer from lab to commercial scale.

Worked in fine chemicals division on developing and commercialization of different drug intermediates, custom synthesis products and pharmaceutical fine chemicals.
