Research-based experience has played a significant role in my personal and professional development. As a curious individual with a passion for learning, I have always been drawn to the world of research. Through my experiences, I have gained valuable knowledge and skills that have allowed me to better understand the world around me and to make a positive impact in my community.My most significant research-based experiences was during my PhD research. As a research scholar of environment engineering at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, India, I worked in the research area of renewable resources. Sustainable production of wastewater micro-algae based biodiesel utilizing the agriculture waste based catalyst was the main focus of my research.Through this experience, I gained a deep appreciation for the research process and the importance of attention to detail. During the PhD, I was also engaged in a collaborative project with Israel that included my expertise in the cultivation of micro-algae. Through this experience, I gained valuable skills in project management, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement. During my PhD work, I got a chance to work as a visiting researcher at Carleton University, Canada. Most recently, I have been working as a visiting researcher at Carleton University and my research is focused on the micro and nano- plastics in wastewater and their remediation measures. I am responsible to prepare complete documentation of research activities for reference purposes. I have a hand on experience on equipments - Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), ATR-FTIR, μ-FTIR and Nanosight (NS300) used in analysis and characterization of plastics. Through this job, I have developed research activities by performing data collection, evaluation and analysis.Wrote research papers, reports, reviews, and summaries regarding nano- plastics in water and wastewater.Moreover, I have more than 5 years of university teaching experience as assistant professor and teaching associate. Overall, my research-based experiences have been instrumental in shaping my personal and professional goals. Through these experiences, I have gained valuable skills in research design, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement. I am excited about the opportunity to continue to pursue my passion for research and to make a positive impact in my community.
