 Responsibilities: Co-ordinator and Co-investigator for project “Role of probiotics on growth and morbidity in children” funded by Danisco Oy, Finland. Responsible for research, teaching & training, field work supervision and administration.  Responsible for all aspects of the project and overseeing both community studies and laboratory evaluations Supplemented specific strains of probiotics to pre-school children from a low socioeconomic community for a period of nine months and analyzed fecal samples for Immune markers and micronutrients. Assisted in performing statistical analysis of anthropometric parameters and laboratory results using SPSS v 15.0.

 Responsibilities: Laboratory co-ordinator for project “Integrated Behavioral and Biological Assessment (IBBA)-Round II” funded by Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF). Training imparted to Field Lab Technicians, District Lab Technicians and State Lab Investigators in field & lab work and ensuring adherence to Good Clinical Laboratory Practices (GCLP). Overall administration of teams at several districts in the state. Involved in research into behavioral aspects of cohort of population at high risk for HIV and analyzing biological samples for evidence of Syphilis, HIV and HSV-II. Responsible for ensuring quality control for all laboratory equipment, techniques and procedures.

 Responsibilities: Involved continuation of Ph.D thesis work, entitled “Studies on bone mineral markers in endemic skeletal fluorosis”.
