About Prashant Bhaskar, Phd

With research experience in experimental characterization & computational modelling of semiconducting materials & devices, I am well-positioned to contribute to industrial R&D. My expertise spans studies on quantum-confined to bulk semiconductor materials. From leading the TCAD design & device modelling of space-grade tandem solar cells, finite-element analyses for enhancing transmissivity of anti-reflective coatings & cover glasses, spectroscopic analyses with pulse-radiolysis/optical-pump & transient microwave/THz frequencies for probing conductivities in van der Waal materials, optical & electron microscopy to tune optoelectronic properties of synthesized nanoparticles to quantum mechanical modelling to explain band-structure phenomena. I am excited about the opportunity to bring my expertise and passion for research to industrial problems.
