I have done Ph.D. degree from the Department of Physics, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. My main research focus is the synthesis of 0-D, 1-D, 2-D, and 3-D nanomaterials (e.g., quantum dots, carbon nanotubes, graphene, Transition Metal Dichalcogenide (TMD), hBN, and their composites/hybrids) and their applications in supercapacitors, EMI shielding, field emission, and hydrogen production. I have published 19 research publications in prestigious international journals, one international book chapter, and two Indian patents (granted 1). I have been a part of various projects funded by UGC, MNRE, and DST GOI. After receiving my Ph.D., I worked as CSIR-Research Associate at the Photonic Materials and Metrology Section, Advanced Materials and Devices Metrology Division, CSIR-National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi. In February 2022, I started as a SERB National Postdoctoral Fellow (NPDF) in the Nanotech Laboratory, SPS, JNU. I am currently working on the synthesis of 2D materials and their heterostructures and their applications in photo-detector, supercapacitors, etc.
