- In May 2021 I completed my PhD, focusing on neuropsychological predictors of outcome following Acquired Brain Injury (ABI). Specifically, I am focusing on prospective memory and executive functioning. I recently published a meta-analysis assessing the best neuropsychological predictors of activities of daily living and quality of life, following ABI. - I worked with a clinical population of individuals with acute brain injury and up to 2-years post-injury. - I see a variety of presentations not limited to; hypoxic ischaemic injuries, stroke, meningitis/encephalitis, traumatic brain injury and alcohol and drug-related brain injury.- For my research, I have completed clinical interviews, conducted multiple neuropsychological assessments and written clinical reports to assist in the rehabilitation goals of my participants.- This role also required me to liaise with colleagues in the health industry to provide feedback, and support for each patient.- I also trained and supported internal practicum students (up to 6 at a time), who were acquiring experience working with individuals with ABI via my PhD. This required training students in the neuropsychological battery, scoring, observations (both having students observe me, and myself of the trainees), report-writing and case formulation.
