My professional journey commenced within the Public Health sector, from which I transitioned into the Private sector driven by a profound commitment to social enterprise. Motivated by a firsthand observation of social issues and community challenges stemming from financial exclusivity, I dedicated myself to addressing the needs of grassroots populations with utmost dedication, evolving into a staunch advocate for "Financial Inclusion."Upon the establishment of the Microfinance law in Myanmar, I co-founded Myanmar Finance Company Limited, marking a historic milestone as the first private company to secure a license. In my capacity as the leader of the Operations team, our Microfinance Institution (MFI) achieved remarkable success, ascending to a position among the top 10 MFIs in Myanmar within a span of two years. Concurrently, our organization pioneered the establishment of the inaugural Joint Venture MFI in Myanmar, featuring international shareholders. This transformation necessitated a comprehensive overhaul of our products, procedures, and policies to align with international best practices, ensuring the optimal service delivery to our clients.Presently, I hold the position of Chief Operating Officer at ThitsaWorks (TW), a preeminent fintech enterprise in Myanmar dedicated to serving the Financial Industry, particularly Microfinance Institutions (MFIs). At TW, I spearhead initiatives supporting MFIs in their digitalization endeavors through a Core Banking System (CBS) and a Credit Information Exchange System. Furthermore, our focus extends to the development of a robust Payment system, where we collaborate closely with diverse stakeholders to advance a real-time, interoperable payment system across various nations.
