Dr. R. Kalyan Kumar obtained his PhD from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, College of Engineering, Anna University, India.He has around 20 years of experience in automotive products design and development. His areas of interest include brake system design, hydraulics, friction materials, Model-based system design, reliability engineering, Design for Six Sigma, lightweight structures, carbon composites, materials, and manufacturing processes. He has around 10 international journal publications and is an expert peer reviewer in many reputed international journals. He is a part of technical committee in many international conferences and has delivered talks. He has guided PhD scholars and MTech students from reputed universities as a doctoral committee member for engineering thesis evaluation.
