Dr Radhakrishnan P is a Director (Retired) at PSG Institute of Advanced Studies. Colleagues describe them as "Dr. Radhakrishnan is a true Master, Mentor, Coach and Guide for his students, besides being a Pioneer in his field. Few teachers I have met before and after him, who inspire their pupils as much as Dr. Radhakrishnan does. Back then in 96, he used to be our guide during my Post Graduation in Computer Integrated Manufacturing, and one of the things that always awed me about him was the kind of keen eyes he had for detail and description. Nothing seemed to skip his astute eyes without registering, not the smallest of an error! But, while he was ruthless about the quality he expected from us, he also took a very genuine and personal interest in the progress of his students including in our non-academic lives, of which there are several instances that I remember. Above all, he managed to do this, despite his extremely busy schedule: he was then the Principal of such a large Institute. Which is why, whenever I remember him, the impression of his never-tiring energy and passion comes to fore, and his ways of also energizing us students even at the oddest of hours! This sentiment was shared by all of us about him. I am proud of having spent time with such a legendary teacher, and shall remain forever indebted to our beloved ‘Guide’."
