I am currently working as a DST INSPIRE faculty fellow in the Department of Chemistry at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. My research primarily focuses on the synthesis of unnatural amino acids, peptides, and peptidomimetics that possess significant biological importance. Additionally, I am involved in exploring new strategies for developing stable insulin analogs and investigating approaches for real-time monitoring of insulin fibrils. Another aspect of my research involves developing biocompatible platforms for releasing gasotransmitters (H2S and NO) to combat neurodegenerative disorders.
