I like to work on interesting AI, Statistics, data analysis and computational problems. I've taught all of these at Harvard, and have now co-founded my own company, univ.ai. Its a Semantic database of the connections between papers, data, proposals, and astronomical objects at the ADS. The back end is implemented in Node.js/Coffeescript, Solr, Sesame and RDF, and the front end in Coffeescript and Bootstrap.Currently implementing the Groups, Apps, Libraries, and Tags subsystem for ADS 2.0, which is a library system to enable researchers to save their ADS papers and searches, and to share them in their research groups and with other researchers. It is also the basis for new social apps to be written on top of ADS 2.0. For example, one could write a bibliography maintanence app for librarians to maintain the papers that their institutions produce. Its written in Flask, MongoDB, and coffeescript.
