I am an public health admistrator,medical education regulator and rehabilitation/disability expert. At present, I am advising WISH FOUNDATION about ublic health innovation and how it canbe applied in Indian public heath care to improve its efficiency and quality.Formerly,I worked to create research evidences for population policies of India and its various states,so as to bring about changes in policies, programmes,interventions towards population stablizatin in India.I am also working with Indian Council of Medical Research for establishing a national rehabilitation and disability research system, so that research evidences can be systematically generated, disseminated, compared and compiled as data base for comlementing national pulic health programme,which directly/ indirectly deals with disability.I am also involoved with networking of 25 state medical councils in India, so that Live Indian Medical Register can be established and online medical registration is put up in place. As DGHS, I was involved with all public health emergencies, programmes. hospitals, human resource for health, medical equipment and diagonistic kits,survilence protocals and monitoring and evalution of all health related acticvities in India.
