I work as an Assistant Professor at Marwadi University, Rajkot, Gujarat. I am an expert in hydrogeochemistry of glacier meltwater and groundwater chemistry. During my PhD, my research focused on understanding contaminants' sources and fate in urban areas' glacial meltwater and groundwater systems. This involves studying the chemical composition of water from glaciers and groundwater sources to understand how they interact with each other and the surrounding environment. The goal is to gain insights into the factors that influence water quality and the potential impacts of climate change on these water resources. I used a combination of field sampling and laboratory techniques, including geochemical modeling, to investigate the impact of anthropogenic activities on groundwater quality. My research has important implications for water resource management and environmental conservation in the Himalayan region, where climate change is expected to impact water availability and quality significantly. My work has shown that glacier meltwater is an essential source of groundwater recharge in the region and that changes in glacier dynamics could have far-reaching effects on the availability of water resources. My research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at international conferences.
