I am Randal Baker MD FACS. My training was in general surgery and Critical Care/Trauma. I specialize in General, Bariatric, and Robotic surgery along with endoscopy. I also am an entrepreneur involved with developing the Full Sense Device for obesity and diabetes. I work at Grand Health Partners in Grand Rapids and am on staff at Spectrum Health, Mercy Health, University of Michigan-West in Grand Rapids and Holland Community Hospital. I have served as Medical Director of Surgical ICUs at Spectrum Health Butterworth and Blodgett. I also served as Medical Director of Bariatrics at Spectrum Health and Petoskey Northern Michigan Hospital. Finally, I served as chief of Surgical Critical Care at Spectrum Hospital.
