- Piezoelectric thin film coating on wafers and on fibers. -First group to fabricate Piezoelectric thin film (PZT) on fibers (cylindrical geometry). - Thin films were deposited by Pulsed DC sputtering method.- PZT was fabricated on many metallic (Pt, Ti, Au) and glass fibers. - Piezocoated fibers were successfully demonstrated as a force sensor.
