I am currently the Assistant Principal at an Elementary School. I am going into my 4th year in this position. Prior to becoming an administrator, I was a classroom teacher. I taught in grades 4 and 5 for about 10 years. Outside of the Elementary School world, I was the Director for our Kids Church, “Community Kids.” I also worked as an Adjunct Instructor for a Special Education course at my alma mater. While working at the local university as an adjunct instructor, I also worked with a program called Lions Connected.In my current role, as well as my previous roles, I had the opportunity to engage in the following skillsets: creating programs, project management, digital tasking, online-remote learning, business analysis, student advocacy, implementing and promoting curricula, higher-education, academic advisory, time management, community outreach, and interpersonal technique, to name a few. Each of the skillsets have supported my servant leadership mindset and have allowed me to impact those around me in a positive manner.
