Being a psychologist is a vocation, and having the opportunity to support children is an incredible privilege. I feel that having this level of appreciation for what I do helps to maintain the determination that each day we’re going to make a positive difference for children.I have worked as an Educational Psychologist across several of the Greater Manchester Local Authorities over the past 10 years. I regularly work across a wide range of age ranges within nursery, primary, secondary, and specialist settings. While I developed an initial specialism within cognition and learning (especially neuropsychology), this has since branched into a more holistic approach; recognising that “to really understand one area of need, you have to know the whole child”. My interests now span across all areas, from anxiety and autism, and attachment and resiliency. I constantly endeavour to improve my practice to enable children to reach their potential.
