Experienced Academician with a demonstrated history of working 12+ years in the Higher Education sector. I hold a PhD in Information Technology from Gauhati University, Assam. The broad area of my doctoral thesis is predicting infectious disease outbreaks through the epidemic model. I have obtained MCA Degree from Dibrugarh University, Assam. I received my BSc(Chemistry) Degree from Gauhati University, Assam. My research interests include epidemic modeling, modeling and simulation, Machine learning, and Cyber Security.Currently working as IT Faculty in the National Institute of Electronics & IT, Guwahati where I teach BCA and various NSQF-aligned courses in IT, both long term and short term. Involved in various projects like DGE Sponsored free SC/ST training,, PMGDISHA, and NECB 2.0(North East Capacity Building Project). Actively involved in student admission process coordinating and counselling.
