Worked for the National Initiative on Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA)- Mango project at the lead centre of project i.e. ICAR RCER-RC, Plandu, Ranchi.Job profile included:• Estimation of disease severity on weekly basis in the experimental plots of the institute and in selected farmer’s field across Jharkhand.• Correlating the disease severity with prevailing weather parameters in the region.• Establishing shift in disease behavior in response to weather aberrations.• Writing and publishing research articles on mango diseases and pests.• Reporting new diseases/entomopathogen from the state.• Reoprt writing and presentation of the same in front of the competent authority.

Research Associate:Worked for the project ‘Epidemiology and forewarning system of downy mildew diseases in cucurbits to develop appropriate IPM strategy’.Job profile included:• To access the severity of downy mildew disease of cucurbitaceous crops in the experimental plot of ICAR RCER- RC, Ranchi and in field.• Relating the percent disease index (PDI) with the prevailing weather parameters in the region.• Coordinating with BCKV, West Bengal, the lead centre of the project for development of appropriate IPM strategy.• On field validation of developed IPM strategy.• Writing and publishing research papers on the project based data.• Project report generation to for evaluation of the work progress.

Worked for the project ‘Effect of potassium application on diseases and pests in Gmelina arborea Roxb. Grown under chottanagpur plateau soils.Job profile involved • Extensive survey across the state for identification of diseases of Gmelina arborea.• Collection of soil samples and plant samples to understand the potassium flow from the soil to the plant.• Soil and plant sample analysis for estimation of Carbon, Nitrogen, Phosphorous, Potassium along with pH and Electrical conductivity.• Estimation of disease severity.• Writing research articles based on the field and laboratory findings.• Monthly / quarterly / annually report generation to be presented to the funding agency.
