Dr. Lawson has spent the majority of his life in the education arena. First, he taught English at Gallia Academy High School in Gallipolis, Ohio for four years, then moved to Huntington, West Virginia where he served as the Director of Continuing Education at Marshall University for thirteen years, then served as the Director of Continuing Education at Shawnee State University for seven years, then ran his own consulting firm, Dynamic Professionals, from 1997-2004, then taught English, Speech, Leadership and Poetry at Georgetown Jr-Sr High School for nine years while also serving as an adjunct professor at both Shawnee State University and Ohio University Chillicothe and also teaching in Zanesville and then finishing up his career at Chillicothe High School by working with juniors and seniors to help them prepare for college level language arts and speech courses. Now, Dr. Lawson is a full time professional speaker and author in the areas of leadership, change, motivational empowerment, economic development and inspiration.
