Head of Crew Training (Form 4) at DEA Aviation Ltd and ESAO (European Specialised Airborne Operations). Duties include:* Re-write of Part D of the Operations Manual (AOC)* Re-write of the ATO Manual* Ensuring that crew training and testing meets regulatory requirements* Ensuring that the training strategy, and broader training methods, are aligned with the business strategy and meet company needs* Aligning crew training with the training strategy and broader training philosophy * Developing Ground School, Initial Flight Training, Line Training, recurrent training and mission training schedules and syllabi* Assisting in the screening of pilot CVs and conducting Gap Analysis flights* Determine the timing, syllabi and contents of new pilot and recurrent training* Monitoring pilot recencies and training requirements* Supervising training staffI have a PhD and have been employed at various universities as an Associate Professor.
