Driving innovation has always been my passion. I believe the best nurishment for innovation is to connect and to make things as easy and understandable as possible. Connecting different people, technologies and sectors as well as entrepreneurs and investors finally leads to more inspiration and to the ideas that are really solving problems of our time. Because of my strong interest in technology and into what can be made possible, I became an aerospace engineer in the first place and worked as a scientist and futurologist in DLR. At DLR, I had the chance to advance methods of systems analysis, technology assessment and roadmapping, scenario planning and foresight for aviation and climate assessments writing my doctorate thesis.Before joining the Investment Team of Companisto, I worked on building the German innovation, technology transfer and startup ecosystem for the space sector at the German Space Agency and to develop relevant strategies, programmes and initiatives. Coordinating the INNOspace Initiative including the cross-sector INNOspace cooperation and technology networks Space2Motion, Space2Agriculture and Space2Health as well as the INNOspace Masters innovation competition. Today as an Investment Manager at Companisto, I am helping to empower founders, business angels and venture capital investors via our online investment plattform. As a FinTech we drive innovation in the field of professional startup financing and crowdinvesting.I am more than ever convinced of the importance and art of networking leading to impactful innovations.
