Dr. Stephens is a Clinical Neuropsychologist also licensed to practice in Clinical Psychology and Clinical Counseling, for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Dr. Stephens offers over 18 years of clinical experience conducting comprehensive assessments, clarifying diagnostic evaluations, and in the development of individual therapy plans for youth with Neurodevelopmental Disorders including; Tourette's Syndrome (TS) & Tics, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD/Asperger's), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Dr. Stephens' evaluations are commonly indicated for children, adolescents, or adults for whom the reason for functional difficulty is largely unclear and/or further educational planning, behavioural management or social skill building are needed. Dr. Stephens also provides therapy/counseling for youth and adults having difficulties with anxiety, depression, and life stressors, who benefit from learning strategies for effectively managing challenges with interpersonal relationships, school peers, professional and family relationships, academic planning and career/work related concerns.
