Dr. Roz Roach known as Dr. Roz is the Founder and Executive Director of Dr. Roz's Healing Place - a Centre for Empowerment and Healing, for women and children who are victims and survivors of domestic violence in Toronto, Ontario. Dr. Roz is the first black woman in Canada to negotiate with three levels of government and raise $4 Million dollars to build Dr. Roz's Healing Place. She is the Founder and President of Nu-Life and Longevity, a practice operating worldwide which supports the promotion of an optimal level of health and wellness with a strong belief that all ills and diseases are due to toxins and deficiencies and body. Dr. Roz began her career as a Registered Nurse in Montreal, later graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Social Sciences, followed by a Master's Degree in Trans-Cultural Psychiatry. Further, she holds a Doctorate in Health and Human Sciences, and is a certified Psychotherapist/Psychoanalyst, Raw Food Sceintist, and Acupuncturist. Dr. Roz is also certified in Business Management, Finances and Non-Financial Management, Staff-Mentor Training and Management. For the past 30 years, she has used music and dance as a therapeutic tool for healing. Songwriter, music producer, and lyricist, she has produced Sistas Calling, a soon to be released anti-racism and anti-violence production.
