I am armed with bachelor's in science and master’s in science and education,PGDME and NET qualified, presently working as an Associate Professor at K J Somaiya College ofEducation,Somaiya Vidyavihar University. A first ranker throughout my course of Education, I ama vibrant Practitioner of Educational Psychology, Environmental Education at the B Ed level. Ihandle Curriculum Design, Development and Evaluation, Educational Management courses at theM Ed level and Understanding of Organizational Behavior at the PGDEM level. ArdentEnvironmentalist at heart, i have initiated as well as successfully concluded an assortment ofExperiential Learning based activities as part of the Environmental club. I am fortunate and feelhumbled to be bestowed with the Outstanding Achievement Award on the occasion of FoundationDay. In 2011, I had presented a joint paper with Dr Kalpana Kharade in the London InternationalConference on Education which was very well appreciated by the participants. I have completedICSSR sponsored (7 lacs) two years major research project for training vernacular medium teachersin using ICT for Language Teaching in the year 2015.I have worked as an e content developer forM.Ed. course organized by Educational Technology department of SNDT University sponsoredproject of MHRD.My thrust areas in research include Experiential Learning in EnvironmentalEducation and Reflective practices in teacher education. I am associated with Amrita VishwaVidyapeetham Coimbatore as a Doctoral Advisory board member. I have been involved in trainingJunior College teachers and teachers of rural schools of Somaiya on the theme of Active learningstrategies. I have coauthored two books: Foundations of OB and HRM and Educational Psychologyfor Learning and Teaching.
