About Dr. Rupini R. V

Dr. Rupini is an Assistant Professor in Marketing and specializes in the field of sensory marketing, consumer behavior and logistics and supply chain management in the United States. My field of work is sensory marketing in the food and beverage industry and my research focuses on leveraging quantitative/qualitative data to develop and apply empirical methods to answer important marketing research questions. One of major accomplishments was developing a new research model to measure sensory influence on customer data and alongside developed a sensory tool to measure the same. This model was published and widely recognized as the gold standard in F & B industry. My work focuses on areas of discrete models, influence of senses - crossmodal correspondences, consumer decisions and willingness to pay a price premium. I am an experienced marketing data scientist, researcher, and a problem solver in the areas of sensory / neuro marketing and consumer behavior. Expert in delivering insights by data manipulation and analysis using statistical tools on large scale data. Translating research findings into managerial and strategic narratives through data-driven decision making; with in-depth knowledge of and experience in marketing research, survey design and business analytics. I have presented research papers at various international conferences and forums and has over 7 years of teaching experience and one year of industry experience.I completed my Doctorate degree in the field of Sensory Marketing and Consumer Behavior, in prior to that she received an MBA in Finance from The University of Toledo and a BSc in Apparel and Fashion Technology. My research interests lies in the areas of sensory / neuro marketing, consumer science, advertising & branding, behavioral decisions, price premium in the food & beverage industry and apparel industry. Actively involved in academia, research publications and also consultations for companies as well.
