I am an alumnus of Welham Girls' High School graduating in 2001. Pursuing my dream to be a doctor, I was then placed at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Belgaum, Karnataka in 2001 for the MBBS program and successfully completed my course in 2007. With the aim of gaining experience personally as well as professionally, I was a Junior resident at Apollo Hospital and Safdurjung Hospital accumulating into a total experience of 18 months. This successfully helped me in gaining a viewpoint of working in private as well as government hospital. In 2011,I was accepted at KLE University, Belgaum to complete my Post graduation(MD) in Department of Psychiatry and successfully completed the same in 2014. During my tenure at KLE, I successfully participated and presented in many National and International Conferences. Fluent in English, Hindi, Urdu, Kannnada and proficient in Marathi, i believe communication is a key component of my practice and look forward to learning and growing.
