I have over 25 years of pharmaceutical experience in many areas including clinical, management, academia, and medical research. I am a senior pharmaceutical executive and during my career I have led numerous successful roles in retail pharmacy, teaching institutions, aged care and pharmaceutical industry. I graduated from the University of Sydney, Faculty of Pharmacy with Honours degree. I then undertook further studies and medical research and completed my PhD in 2004 also from the University of Sydney. I worked with world renowned professors and was involved in medical research in various fields including Asthma, hyperlipidaemia, diabetes, atherosclerosis, pharmacology and herbal medicine. This has involved animal, in vitro and enzyme assays studies and led to many scientific publications. I was also employed as an academic at the University of Sydney, Faculty of Pharmacy as a Lecturer and Course Coordinator in the area of Pharmacotherapeutics teaching 4th year pharmacy students as well as the Master of Pharmacy course. For over 20 years, I also managed and owned many community pharmacies and worked as a consultant pharmacist conducting numerous medication reviews for community patients as well as aged care residents. Furthermore, I have been providing consultant work for many aged care facilities since 2000 and sit on several Medical Advisory Committees. In 2018, I established Selima pharmaceuticals and founded the brand Ultra Nature. Since then many unique products have been formulated and distributed locally and overseas in countries such as Vietnam, China, Cambodia and China.Currently, I am the CEO of Selima pharmaceuticals the manufacturer of the brand ultra nature.
