•Provide direction and manage employees in the Corporate & Internal Communications Unit in performing their delegated tasks;•Prepare reports on the overall performance of Corporate & Internal Communications Unit for the Communication Director •Ensure that the performance of various tasks and the conduct of the staff in the Unit are in accordance with the entity policies and procedures. •Ensure the availability of required resources to carry out all the tasks related to the Corporate & Internal Communications unit•Perform periodic performance appraisals for Unit staff (in coordination with the HR & Administration Division);•Identify required skills and knowledge and nominate his / her staff to attend appropriate training programs in order to acquire them •Ensure that policies and procedures for the Unit are documented and adhered to;•Identify the technology needs that ensure that the Unit processes are performed efficiently and cost effectively (in coordination with the IT Department).•Recommends, plans, manages (writes and/or edits) and evaluates communication programs for the entity Executive Management Team, including reports, presentations, press releases and speeches as required,•Entity general electronic and face-to-face communications.•Undertake the necessary monitoring and evaluation activities in order to determine the success or otherwise of communications strategies.•Ensure that the Entity website is updated and steadily improved by posting articles, videos and other educational content.•Ensure that all the entity output, including articles, briefing papers and key correspondence copy, is in entity's style guide.•Develop new and creative communication streams, including podcasts and videos.• Assist in updating and developing entity’s presence on social media networks.•Respond, or ensure that another staff member responds, to the stakeholders’ enquiries about relevant issues received by phone, email or letter....
