Myself is a senior Child Rights Activist and have been working as a Programme Manager with the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India since 1996. I have also been Secretary to an NGO called Society for Women Empowerment Education & Training (SWEET) since 2003. After completing my B.Sc., P.G Diploma in Labour Laws & Personnel Management and LLB from Sambalpur University I took my MBA degree. I won my PhD from Berhampur University with a thesis on "A Critical Analysis on the Status of Child Labour in Western Odisha".I am associated with some statutory bodies of the Government of Odisha and am a member of the Juvenile Justice Board. I was also a "State Level Trainer" and have worked for UNDP and the Panchayati Raj Department, Government of Odisha.I have written a large number of research papers and am the author of many books. These Books have been highly acclaimed by the press and by distinguished academicians.Eminent Poet, Story writer, Novelist, and columnist, whose verses reflected a serene blend of tradition and modernity. Noted for the depth of his scholarship in the literature and child Rights Activities, I am highly respected as an author and orator and represented the finest traditions of contemporary Odia literature.As an insightful writer who enriched Odia literature, I am noted for my progressive and philosophical convictions, which at the same time, are deeply rooted in the Indian ethos.
