About Dr. Samreen Rasool
My professional career started in 2009 as Research associate at Enzyme Biotechnology Lab. with Higher Education Commission funded project "Mutagenesis of A. niger for enhanced production of glucose oxidase". Later I joined University Medical and Dental College as Demonstrator of Biochemistry in January 2015. I got promotion to the position of Assistant professor of Biochemistry in May 2015. I joined Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization at National Textile University in December 2016, and served as deputy director uptill April 2019. I availed HEC's IPFP program the same year and worked as Assistant Professor at Women University Multan on a contract of one year. My project got selected for Startup Research grant by HEC but I returned due to COVID-19 and could not start. The same year I joined GCWUF and GCU as visiting Assistant Professor on a contract of 1 year for each. In 2021 I again got a chance to serve in my parent Institute UAF as visiting Assistant Professor of Biochemistry. In April 2022 I joint Akhuwat Faisalabad Institute of Research Science and Technology as Assistant Professor of Biochemistry for a period of 3 years.
