CURRENT POSITION:Santosh Kumar is an Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering discipline. Prior to joining IIIT-NR, Dr. Santosh Kumar was a Ph.D. scholar in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT (B.H.U.), Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. He is an active member of the Computer Society and the Association for Computing Machinery.I have completed my Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, India in June 2017.My research interests span a wide range of spectrum including:Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, Machine Learning, Data Science, Image processing, Video processing, Metaheuristics Optimization Algorithm,My current interests are in the following problems: Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Image Processing, Animal Biometrics and Neuromarphic computation
