Recently, I have completed Ph.D in organic chemistry and my Ph.D. work involved in organic synthesis based on carbohydrates and heterocyclic. In my PhD research, I have synthesized regioselective lipid-modified carbohydrates using classical organic strategies. The Ph.D. work has focused on synthesis of different low molecular weight hydrogelators based on renewable feedstock and a systematic study was done to reveal their surface-active (foaming and emulsifying). By virtue of their molecular constitution and being biodegradable. I have also synthesized heterocyclic based isoxazole derivative organogelators which are utilized in oil spills recovery and separation of oil from industrial scum oil. Some of the synthesized molecules showed very potent industrial applications.
