Transgenerational effects on the metabolism of the European sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax) in the context of ocean acidification and warming

Although employed at AWI Bremerhaven I did most of my Research at Ifremer Plouzané in the PFOM+ARN lab.

I determined the temperature dependency of the total cellular oxygen consumption of hepatocytes from the Antarctic eelpout, as well as the fractions of the total cellular oxygen consumption which are used for protein biosynthesis and mitochondrial respiration.

During this internship I have been responsible for the microbiology aspect of the MASC project.

During my FÖJ, I was guiding tourists through the unique nature of the National Park Wadden Sea. My duties were mainly to explain groups of children, students and families, why this unique environment needs protection and to inspire them for the Wadden Sea.
