Heading Biotechnology program: Protein and strain engineering for green and specialty chemicals, nutraceuticals. At ZST we focus on offering clean, green, and sustainable solutions through a hybridization approach of synthetic chemistry, bio-transformations, and synthetic biology to develop sustainable process in specialty chemicals, nutraceuticals and pharmaceuticals.Hands on experience to develop different Biosimilar products and New Biologic Entity (NBEs), Recombinant Enzymes and Biocatalysis for small molecules, Protein conjugates (PEGylation) and Protein Drug Conjugate (PDC) development.Responsible for cost-effective and innovative recombinant technologies for Biologics and Recombinant enzymes. Clone (microbial & mammalian) and Process Development (upstream and downstream), scale-up and manufacturing, Analytical methods, Validations, GMP manufacturing, Drug substance and Drug product formulation and characterization. In vitro, in vivo and GLP studies (rodent and non-rodent) for non-clinical development and Regulatory filings (IND and CT). Over 19 years of research experience in molecular biology and fermentation/upstream and downstream process development, purification and characterization of recombinant proteins, enzymes, peptidesoligosaccharides, metabolites, from microbial and mammalian cell culture system. Experienced in development and implementation of projects from proof of concept to proof of value stage. Development of Intellectual property and regulatory requirements. Holding > 22 patents in large/small molecule manufacturing and their mode of action and 6 scientific papers.
