Completed B.Sc (Applied Sciences – Computer Technology) from P.S.G College of Technology, MCA from Bharathidasan University, M.Phil in Computer Science from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University and Ph.D in Computer Science from Bharathiar University. Qualified in State Eligibility Test conducted by Bharathiar University. Four scholars completed Ph.D and currently guiding 6 scholars in the fields of Educational Mining, Agricultural Mining, Machine Learning and Networks. 20+ years of experience in teaching. Areas of interest include Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Data Compression, Database Systems and Data Mining. Published more than 70 research papers in various reputed National and International Journals. Presented a paper entitled "Lossless Preprocessing Algorithms for better Compression" in an IEEE International Conference at Zhangjiajie, China. Recipient of the best paper awards, at an International Conference on “Wisdom Based Computing” at Thiruvananthapuram and at a National Conference on “Transforming India through Digital Innovations” at Guru Shree Shantivijai Jain College for Women, Chennai. Principal investigator of the project entitled, “Development of a Prediction model to identify At-risk students using heart rate data” funded by Vision Group of Science and Technology. One of the co-inventors of the patent on “Intelligent system for early detection and warning to prevent trucks from toppling using IoT and AI”. Filed four patents and published three patents.
