I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate at UT/OAK Ridge National Laboratory, where I apply my expertise in molecular dynamics and membrane simulations to study the interaction between bilayers and interface water (IW). I use various tools and languages, such as GROMACS, Shell Scripting, Fortran, Matlab, and Linux, to conduct atomistic and coarse-grained simulations of lipid membranes and biofuels. My passion for molecular dynamics stems from my PhD in computational chemistry/biology from Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur, where I investigated the coupling of IW and DMPC bilayers upon supercooling. I published 8 papers in CPL, JCP, CP, LANGMUIR and PCCP, where I demonstrated the anomalous diffusion and glassy dynamics of IW near lipid bilayers. My goal is to advance the understanding of the structure and dynamics of biological membranes and their implications for various biological processes.
