I most recently served as the Assistant Executive Director of the Delaware County Intermediate Unit (DCIU). In this position, I worked collaboratively with the Executive Director to provide leadership and coordination for all departments of the organization with specific oversight of human resources, curriculum, instruction and professional development, teaching, learning and innovation, as well as, career and technical education. I also led various job-alike groups for professional development and was instrumental in launching the Delaware County STEM ecosystem designed to create and enhance experiential opportunities to develop STEM literacy. Previously, I served as the Superintendent for the Pottsgrove School District. In this role, I was responsible for the daily education and operation of the district’s five schools. My responsibilities included directing the development and disbursement of the yearly sixty-six-million-dollar operating budget, as well as, serving as the official spokesperson for the district in providing information to the Board of Directors, district employees and the community on matters affecting the operation of the school district. Moreover, I was highly focused on strategic thinking, and led the leadership team in building and executing a thoughtful comprehensive plan both at the district and building levels that was monitored on a cyclical basis to ensure results. I also served as the Superintendent of Record for the Western Montgomery Career and Technical Center educating students from Pottsgrove along with two neighboring districts. Prior to becoming Superintendent, I spent five years working as the Assistant Superintendent in the district, during which time I developed additional skills in labor relations and curriculum and staff development. Additionally, I worked as the Director of Human Resources for the Pennridge School District for several years focused solely on honing my skills in labor relations and negotiations.
