My work experience has allowed me to work from the ground up many times. Teaching, (the ultimate Customer Service, Recruiter, Advisor, Manager, and Director position) has allowed me to be a classroom teacher for 3rd thru 10th graders, to learn a multitude of technology (all Word programs, Google programs, SMART Board, Document Camera, etc.), and then to become a leader in the training of my fellow teachers in technology. I have even had the opportunity to lead a session at the California State Charter School Convention and the local San Diego CUE-Computer-Using Educators. Being a Children’s Director presented me with an opportunity to grow the elementary department from 35 children to over 600 children. This created a necessary need for volunteers that I would recruit, train, and then come along-side-of throughout their teaching. Opportunities led me to program, recruit, train, and lead for week-long events of over 1,000 children and 400 volunteers. The greatest opportunity was working with 2 other Children’s Pastors to help the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association redevelop their Saturday outreach to children. This event presented us with the opportunity to train well over 1,000 volunteers, plan the morning’s event, and reach well over 40,000 children. My strengths lie in my creativity, perseverance, and outgoing personality. I am an encourager of others, dedicated to my school/team/students, and possess a strong work-ethic. My passion is to work within an environment of strongly passionate people who strive to work together towards the dynamic completion of the projects set forth by our employer.I possess my EdD from Olivet University in Bourbonnais, IL, a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Point Loma University, San Diego, CA and a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Elementary Education from San Diego Christian College, El Cajon, CA. I also have both a current Illinois and California Elementary and Administrative Credential. I hold an endorsement for Middle School and English Language Learners. I am Microsoft Certification in both Word and PowerPoint.
