I strive for excellence by learning and contributing something innovative in the field of Food Nutrition and Dietetics – with a proactive approach and positive attitude. Secrets of our second brain -'Gut' excited me to dig deeper into the relationship of the Gut-Brain Axis, as part of doctoral research we tried combating depression through gut microflora modulation by intervention with prebiotics and cereal-based probiotic beverage for which I received Young Scientist Award. Work on the gut and mental health connection has been featured in TOI, Gujarat Samachar, Sandesh Daily, and various peer-reviewed journals. Other accomplishments include UGC NET SRF and ICAR AIEEA.As a consultant at MAMTA Health Institute of Mother and Child, health coach at NGOs like Kalam and Mahima, and research fellow at UPKAR I have supervised various health camps and activities in rural as well as urban settings. I'm on a mission to make people aware of ‘mindful fitness' - counsels people, both individually and in collaboration with organizations such as Mahila Patanjali Yog Samiti and Kaka Ayurvedic Chiktsalya, on lifestyle management to combat noncommunicable diseases and raise awareness about environmental sustainability.I am certified as a nutrigenomic counselor, diabetic educator, and yoga instructor. I hold experience in academic teaching, nutrition counseling, clinical research, project management evaluation, and analytics. Looking forward to working in food product development sectors, research, and teaching.
