Dr. Simone Breitkopf is a licensed medical doctor, trained in neurology, psychiatry and psychotherapy, with a PhD in neuropathology with more than 20 years of professional experience within healthcare, including clinical medicine, pharmaceutical and medical device industry and the German pharmaceutical industry association, BPI. She is engaged in several industry and scientific associations, including DGPharMed, where she is a board member and heading the HTA working group. She is also member of the Swiss SGCM.In August 2018 Dr. Breitkopf founded her own consultancy advising healthcare industry, NGOs and further institutions in all clinical, medical affairs and market access topics including evidence based medicine, clinical development, real world evidence, HTA and health policy with a strong focus on the German healthcare system. Products include pharmaceuticals, medical devices and medical cannabis.
