Graduated from UC Irvine with BS in Biological Sciences 1984, George Washington University School of Medicine with MD 1988, Residency in Pediatrics between UC, Irvine and Butterworth Hospital, Grand Rapids, MI, Board Certified Pediatrician 1992. Joined the Air Force as a Pediatrician. Assignments included Texas, Germany, and Alaska. Left active-duty Air Force in 2001 to work for the Children´s Clinic. In 2011 founded Full Spectrum Pediatrics, PC. While working full-time as a civilian Pediatrician, continued AF career with the AK Air National Guard and the Air Force Reserves. In the fall of 2007, Selected to build the first F-22 reserve medical unit from the ground up. By the second year, the unit was awarded the Team Aerospace Medicine Award­ best in the USAFR. Awarded the Physician of the Year in the Air Force Reserves, 2006. During this period trained in Aerospace Medicine. After 23 years of military service, retired from the United States Air Force Reserves, in August of 2013 as a Colonel.Selected to serve three terms as Chair of Pediatrics at Alaska Regional Hospital, then nominated to a two-year term as President of the Medical Staff, 2021 through 2022.Married Alicia while at George Washington University in 1986 (yes, 37 years). Blessed with 6 children, two adopted, and now 11 grandchildren.
