As a Finance Manager, I am responsible for, to mention but a few: Controlling budgets and expenditures of the hospital. Implement effective, efficient and transparent systems of financial and risk management and internal control. Ensure appropriate procurement and provisioning system which is fair, equitable transparent ,compatible and cost effective. Ensure adherence to the financial legislative frameworks. Draw and analyze budget/expenditure reports and present to cash-flow and MTEC committees. Conduct in-service training to hospital management team on all financial expects. Ensure effective management of human resources in finance component. Take appropriate steps to prevent unauthorized and irregular expenditure within the hospital. A member of the hospital Executive Committee, Cash Flow Chairperson, MTEC Chairperson, Board of Survey Chairperson, Bid Award Chairperson, Quality Assurance member, Institutional Human Resource Development committee member etc.
