A textile technologist specialized in polymer and fibre science with nearly four decades of combined research and industrial experience in synthetic and natural fibers.Started career in cotton textile industry and later switched over to polyester manufacturing industry in early eighties and have since been extensively involved in various capacities in project planning and execution, manufacturing, product development, customer services, commercial including procurement of raw materials, administrative controls and strategic business solutions including downstream industries. Having retired in July 2013 as the Chief Operating Officer (Polyester Division) of The Bombay Dyeing & Mfg. Co. Ltd., I now look forward to utilizing my long and varied experiences to the benefit of the organizations aspiring to develop and excel in operations and management of synthetic fiber, filament and related businesses.Presently engaged in the advisory capacity with leading fibre manufacturing and global consultancy organizations for process excellence and strategic business solutions in polyester and related textiles.A writer in vernacular language, I have recently published my first book, a bio-novel, on journey of an aspiring professional through the turbulent times of sixties and seventies.
