As the Director of Placement and Industrial Training at Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), I oversee the career development and industry engagement of students. With a PhD in Machine Learning from Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University, I have more than 20 years of experience in teaching, research, and corporate relations in the field of Training & Placement. I have led multiple projects on prediction and classification of electricity load and price, and published several papers in reputed international journals and conferences. I have also established strong partnerships with leading companies and organizations, and facilitated the placement of thousands of students in diverse sectors and roles. My core competencies include teamwork, machine learning, and research, and my mission is to enhance the quality and relevance of education and training in BPUT and beyond. I am passionate about creating opportunities and empowering students and faculty to excel in their chosen fields and contribute to the society.
